Introdution
Established in the 17th Century, the Green Lake Park is located at the foot of Luofeng Hill in Kunming city proper, directly facing the main entrance of Yunnan University and consists of four lakes linked by bridges in the traditional style.As one of Kunming's best parks, its banks are lined with ancient weeping willow trees, well established flower gardens and elegant pavilions both large and small.
What to see
Goldfish Island
Cedar, camphor and other trees on the island are evergreen all the year round. The birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, and the breeze is blowing. Visitors can stroll and have a rest here. It is better to stop for tea tasting.
Bamboo Forest Island
Bamboo Forest Island, along the river bank into a forest, green and shady, there are many vine flower trellis, winding path, bamboo forest shade, flower trellis block the sun to enjoy the cool, the lake pond lotus in full bloom. There are often folk artists and singers gathering on the island, performing, exchanging, singing and dancing improvisations.
