Overview
Mount Siguniang consists of four peaks: Yaoguniang (6250m), Sanfeng (5664m), Erfeng (5454m), and Dafeng (5025m). The scenic area is divided into three valleys: Changping Valley, Haizi Valley, and Shuangqiao Valley, each offering unique landscapes and trekking experiences.
Best Time to Visit
The best time for trekking is from May to October when the weather is relatively stable. July and August offer the most vibrant wildflower blooms, while October provides spectacular autumn foliage.
Trekking Routes
Changping Valley: A moderate trek of about 18km, suitable for most fitness levels. The trail passes through forests, meadows, and offers views of the four peaks.
Haizi Valley: A more challenging route leading to alpine lakes. The full trek is about 19km with significant elevation gain.
Shuangqiao Valley: The most accessible valley, accessible by bus with optional hiking segments. Perfect for families and casual hikers.
