Guilin weather is generally mild with four distinctive seasons – sunny and vigorous spring, rainy and foggy summer, cool and pleasant autumn, breezy and drizzling winter. In Guilin, the climate in January is the coolest with an average temperature of 8 C (46 F), while July is the hottest with an average temperature of 28 C (82 F).

Best time to visit Yangshuo or Guilin weather wise
Best time to visit Yangshuo & Guilin are the periods of late March to May and late September throughout November when the weather is relatively mild and days are generally sunny with temperatures varying between 20-30°C (68-86°F).

May and June often compete to be the wettest month although it varies each year. July and August are often hot and humid with temperatures of 28-35°C (68-86°F).

Winters in Yangshuo & Guilin are mild and short with temperatures rarely dropping to freezing point. Weather in November and even December will be chilly in the evenings and on cloudy days but is often wonderful with plenty of sun and blue skies.

January and February are generally the least best times for a visit when weather is grey and gloomy, cold and rainy, and visitors in Yangshuo are very few.
