Being the “paradise” for about over 40 giant pandas of different ages, Bifengxia Center performs extraordinarily for the breeding, rescue, research, scientific education of giant pandas to save this rare and endangered animal species, together with Dujiangyan Panda Ark and Wolong Shenshuping Panda Base, and is reputed as the “World Natural Heritage - Giant Panda’s Habitat in Sichuan”.

You'll follow a winding path up the mountain, gradually approaching the massive statue.

Standing at 71 meters tall, the Leshan Giant Buddha is truly a breathtaking sight.

You'll start at the head, which is wide enough to seat a dozen people, then make your way down a narrow, zigzagging staircase carved into the cliffside, passing the Buddha’s shoulders, knees, and eventually reaching his enormous feet—each toe taller than you!

From different viewpoints, you’ll also get amazing views of the three rivers—Minjiang, Dadu, and Qingyi—that meet just in front of the Buddha.
